The Bosch GCB18V-2N 18V is 60% lighter and 40% more compact than standard deep-cut band saws. It offers a cutting capacity of 530 SFM (square feet per minute). Designed for common material dimensions and with a cutting capacity of 2 1/2 in per pass, it makes precise cuts in a wide variety of metal materials, including ducts, uni-strut profiles, threaded rods and tubes in copper and black steel. The saw saves time by making clean cuts in pipes (with little sparking) and without the need to grind and deburr after cutting. It features a tool-free blade guard to protect the blade from debris, and a tool-free blade changing system with easy access to the blade. The bandsaw features a sturdy aluminum base, which is lightweight for easy portability, and stands up to tough working conditions.
